6 STEP PROCESS FOR A SUCCESSFUL KITCHEN AND BATHROOM REMODEL IN 2020 – STEP 5
Remodeling your kitchen or bath is an exciting time for you and your entire family. After the design is finalized and you have decided on all selections of cabinetry, appliances, countertops, lighting and flooring, it’s time for your new kitchen renovation to start. That’s when the experienced craftsmen at Element Cabinet design begin the process of permit finalization, demolition, framing, plumbing, electric work, drywall and finishing, cabinet installation, tile setting, floor laying, trim carpentry, painting and any other trades that may be required to complete your dream home remodel.

For the month of December we will be outlining this process for you to utilize for your new home remodeling project in 2020.
Step 5 – Finish Material Installation
Element Cabinet Design will now insulate and drywall all the open walls and lay down the flooring. After that is done we set and adjust the base cabinets on top of the new floor. We will measure countertops and begin the fabrication if necessary. It can take a week or more to fabricate countertop from materials like granite, icestone, silestone, cambria or ceasarstone. While the finished countertops are being crafted, we will proceed to hang and adjust the wall cabinets and install the appliances. The next set is to install trim carpentry, including everything from cabinetry crown and light rail to window and door casement. The final part of this step is, of course, painting the walls.
Once the countertop has been installed, our professional tile setter come in and install any kitchen backsplash tile, the plumber returns to install the faucet and connect the appliances, and the electrician returns to install light fixtures and device plates. Final touch up substantially completes the kitchen remodeling project.
